SEHD has produced (up to 2009) five documentary films on the forests and indigenous peoples; prawn aquaculture and mangrove destruction, Phulbari Coalmine and the tea plantation workers in Bangladesh. The sixth documentary film focused on prawn aquaculture and its impact on the local communities will be done by 2011. The SEHD documentary films present facts, analyses and tips on critical areas of national and community interests. The SEHD documentary films are aired by television channels, used in special programs and talk shows, used in class rooms and training programs. These are also good campaign materials. With its own documentary films and films gathered from different other sources, SEHD has organized a number of mini film festivals. |
